Singleton v. Hoag

In Singleton v. Hoag, I had the case ordered into arbitration before the American Arbitration Association by the Superior Court. I represented a general partner and his company with claims brought against him by seven plaintiffs which also included Superior Court Judge Raymond Cardenas relating to claims for breach of contract, fraud, emotional distress, breach of fiduciary duty and for an accounting.

Plaintiffs sought damages against clients in excess of $1,600,000.  Obtained defense verdict for client's corporation.  Individual client had damages assessed against him for only $49,000 on an accounting cause of action only.  The plaintiffs took nothing on their tort or breach of contract claims against our clients.
