Pursuant to California Rules of Professional Conduct, Rule 2-200, an attorney may enter into a referral fee agreement with another attorney as long as the client is given full and informed disclosure in writing of the referral fee agreement, the client consents in writing, and the fee does not increase by reason of the division of fees.
