Andres v. Schmetzer

Claim brought by the foreign trustee from Germany against foreign clients who resided here to recover over $800,000 in assets that trustee claimed belonged to an estate in Germany that had filed for bankruptcy.  The Trustee claimed that one of my clients murdered the ex-husband of my other client’s wife.  The autopsy report concluded that the husband had committed suicide after being despondent over large losses he suffered in the stock market in October of 1987. I obtained a court order dismissing the cases against clients and recovered court costs for my clients.
